Too Long

I haven't written in forever. It's not that I was busy. It was more that I was enjoying the holidays with JM, and didn't stop to think to write. He had a couple of days off of work, and it was so nice to spend time together without thinking about his job.

Our Christmas went really well. We had my family's tradtional breakfast: cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs and juice. (Normally, we have corned beef hash too, but I couldn't find it anywhere here.) Then we spent the rest of the day watching movies and playing with the stuff that we got for Christmas.

I dragged JM out of bed at 5:30 to go shopping for Boxing Day. He didn't complain or anything. (Well, not that much!) We got some really good deals, and came home exhausted.

I introduced JM to Jelly Belly jelly beans. I love Jelly Bellys. They are, indeed, a superior jelly bean. And no, they weren't Bernie Botts beans either.

We bought too much stuff that we didn't need, including tons of clearance Christmas candy, a 3 foot long box of cookies, and a jumbo universal remote that I can't program. (It was only 99 cents. I couldn't resist.)
Nothing too exciting happened. I missed my family a lot. I am crossing my fingers for spending Christmas with everyone I love next year.

Oh, and JM and I think we see our ghost in this picture that I took.
Can you see it? Or are we just paranoid?

Don't even get me started on ghost pictures. They totally freak me out.

Could be scary, but also gratifying, as it justifies your ghost worries. :)

So glad that you had a wonderful holiday! I love days off where you can just bum around and be with the people you love. Nothing better!!

Good for you that you were enjoying yourself so much you didn't even think of blogging!

And good for you getting loads of candy in the sales!

Now in terms of ghosts in photos... have you heard of orbs? I get a lot of orbs in my photos nowadays. They're round, sometimes milky white (the person's guardian angel), sometimes it has colours (archangels), and sometimes it has a face in the middle of it (an angel bringing a spirit to visit the person in the photo). There's a great book called "Enlightenment Through Orbs" by Diana Cooper if you're interested or else there's www.dianacooper.com website. Spirituality is a passion of mine!

I am glad you had a good holiday! We did too. I didn't venture out for the after Christmas sales, but I did go on thanksgiving day for one of those cute little tykes "ride on" cars for Gavin. There really is something thrilling about a great sale! :)

Hi Bonny,
when you get thoughts into your head while meditating acknowledge that they're there but then try to let go. I know this is easier said then done. But instead of fighting the thoughts it's better to think "ok, the thought is here, i've acknowledged it, now let go". In the beginning you might only be able to meditate for 5-10 mins. Then gradually build it up. Good luck! Helena
